2026 Tapestry of Black Voices Awards Winners Announced During Juneteenth Celebration

The 2026 Tapestry of Black Voices Awards, presented by Conversations in Color, celebrated the power of authentic conversation, community storytelling, and cultural preservation during a special Juneteenth awards program. Created to honor meaningful dialogue between everyday people, the awards recognize conversations that inspire, educate, entertain, and strengthen communities.

Unlike many awards programs that focus on celebrities or social media influence, the Tapestry of Black Voices Awards centers real conversations between individuals whose stories reflect the experiences, challenges, triumphs, and creativity found throughout Black communities. Through these recorded conversations, participants contribute to a growing archive that documents perspectives and experiences that might otherwise go unheard.
